MQM-Haqiqi contacts government
KARACHI: The Mohajir Qaumi Movement, better known as MQM-Haqiqi, has formally approached the government complaining about the killing of its workers in Karachi and in other parts of the country.
The MQM-Haqiqi is the main rival faction of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
A three-member delegation of MQM-Haqiqi, led by its vice chairman Younas Khan, met with top officials at the interior ministry.
The delegation presented the ministry’s officials with a list of MQM-Haqiqi workers who were allegedly targeted.
According to the list more then 154 workers of their party have been killed.
The delegation said the Muttahida Qaumi Movement led by Altaf Hussain was behind the killing of their workers.
The MQM was contacted for its side of the story, but no one was available. — DawnNews
