Court adjourns hearing in case against Nusrat Bhutto
LAHORE: The Accountability Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of the case regarding Nusrat Bhutto’s illegal assets till February 18, DawnNews reported.
Jahangir Badar, the counsel of Nusrat Bhutto, appeared before the court and pleaded that Nusrat Bhutto could not be present for the hearing due to severe ill health.
The court ordered Nusrat Bhutto’s counsel to present her medical report on the case’s next hearing.
Nusrat Bhutto was among the beneficiaries of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) and her case was reopened following the Supreme Court’s verdict that scrapped the NRO. — DawnNews
