ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will be going on an official visit to China for four days on Feb 21.
This would be the minister’s first bilateral visit to China, during which he will meet with his Chinese counterpart Foreign Minister Yang Jeichi and would call on the Chinese leadership.
Qureshi will also be addressing business leaders, think-tanks and members of the Pakistani community.
He will also go to Shanghai to see the under-construction Pakistan pavilion for the Shanghai Expo 2010.
The Foreign Office maintained that the foreign minister’s visit will help enhance bilateral cooperation with China, which will ultimately help in bringing stability and prosperity in the region.
